Very rarely seen and just one of the reasons to be exceptionally careful when venturing closer to the sand and mud in the bay.
This specimen was seen working the shallows as the tide withdrew, before heading out into deeper waters.
Rock Pooling Children
The last know sighting was in 1958 by children rock pooling for crabs in the bay (location not recorded).
